PRESTIGE HOLIDAYS WELCOMES YOU
TO OUR WONDERFUL BRITISH ISLES
Islands are special places, with a totally distinct feel, sparkle, and local community charm that sets them apart from anything you will find in a mainland destination holiday resort.
Our 2020 Prestige Holidays Closer to Home brochure brings you the fabulous Isles of Scilly, the stunning Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey, Sark, Herm and Alderney as well as the ruggedly beautiful and highly sought after Orkney and Shetland Islands.
When you travel to any one of these islands, you get the feeling that you have arrived somewhere truly unique, and in the Isles of Scilly is there a better way to arrive than by helicopter? With flights from many regional airports throughout the UK as well as many ferry crossings, accessing these hidden gems is becoming easier.
Aside from our islands, why not visit Scotland (which actually has 790 offshore islands of its own), Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.
The Scottish mainland is bursting with spectacular storybook scenery, fantastic food and whisky, and lends itself perfectly to touring and self drive holidays. We are proud to bring Scotland in to the fold for 2020, featuring accommodation in six great cities including the capital Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Aberdeen, Inverness, Fort William as well as the majestic Cairngorms National Park.
Just across the Irish Sea is ‘The Land of the Giants’ – Northern Ireland. The intriguing choice, in our opinion, Northern Ireland has so much to offer couples, families and those seeking a little bit of adventure. Belfast is a fascinating city, and after years of political unease is firmly cementing itself on the city break map. Derry-Londonderry is another fantastic choice; why not combine a stay in both? The Giants Causeway is also often on the forefront of every visitors agenda.
The Republic of Ireland is another new addition to the Prestige portfolio, and the Emerald Isle is truly a destination like no other in the world. The capital city of Dublin is unsurprisingly world renowned, home to the Guinness Storehouse, Temple Bar and Trinity College, but there are so many other cities and towns to explore including Kilkenny, Cork, Wexford, Waterford, Donegal, Limerick, Westport, Cong, Galway and Killarney.
Galway is the one to watch, as the European Capital of Culture for 2020!
