The Atlantic Hotel

St Brelade

The Atlantic Hotel, Jersey is a luxury hotel in one of the most stunning and unique locations in the Channel Islands.

The award-winning restaurant is not to be missed, serving modern British cuisine with the emphasis on local Jersey produce. The Executive Head Chef creates sophisticated a la carte menus, as well as a changing daily menu. Within the six acres of gardens is an outdoor pool, with sunbeds and umbrellas, usually open May-Sep. For the cooler months, there is an indoor pool with small gym, sauna and Jacuzzi for guest use. For the more adventurous, there is a steep walk down to St Ouen’s beach.

Recommended for its luxury and warm welcome, and in a great position overlooking St Ouen’s Bay, The Atlantic Hotel is a member of the ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’. The hotel is also an ideal choice for golfers, with the neighbouring La Moye Golf Course. Car hire would be recommended at this hotel due to its location.

Rooms have either views of the golf course or ocean, and all are elegantly furnished. Garden studio rooms are a little larger, and have direct access to the hotel gardens. For more space and luxury, there are also two suites – details are available upon request.

When To Go

Summer (June-August) – the island boasts some of the UK’s warmest weather and temperatures can reach a comfortable 21 degrees Celsius. This period is peak season and although the weather is favourable, costs and availability can be an issue.

Autumn (September-November) – September to mid-October can still attract some decent weather and it means you can enjoy the island when the tourists have all gone home. The sea temperatures tend to be at their warmest in September.

Winter (December-February) – Low Season. A season with unpredictable weather and very few tourists. Some properties, attractions and shops close during this period. That being said winter on Jersey can still be enjoyable, with dramatic coastlines and cosy atmospheric pubs whilst taking advantage of the much lower prices at this time of year. However please bear in mind that travel to Jersey at this time of the year can often be disrupted due to weather. This is also the best time for deserted beaches, coastal foraging, stormy photography and wild walks without another soul in sight.

Spring (March-May) – A lovely time to visit the island with spring flowers in bloom everywhere and the summer hoards of visitors have not yet arrived. Temperatures are starting to get balmy and a great time for walking the miles of nature trails on offer.
